This project transforms a former industrial site in Groningen into a vibrant residential neighborhood. Nestled within a tech-centric city, the new housing development will seamlessly integrate with the surrounding area.
Innovative design for modern living
The development features four new building blocks situated a top an underground parking garage, ensuring that the ground level remains car-free. The orientation of the blocks maximizes views and creates engaging outdoor spaces.
Compact and green
By designing the blocks to be as compact as possible,we maximize green space within the Jullensblok. The layout of smaller blocks fosters a connection between each apartment and its surroundings, while also providing room for a lush, green inner courtyard.
Sustainable and inviting environment
To enhance the living experience, mobile large treepots and elevated planting borders are incorporated alongside a diverse selection of perennial plants, grasses, and multi-stemmed flowering shrubs. This design creates an inviting and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents.
